Vero Beach Private Residence
About:
Impressive new residential construction facing the Atlantic Ocean in Vero Beach, Florida. Compelling architectural style is coupled with beautifully crafted stucco exteriors to stunning effect. Owners wanted a stucco finish that appears completely natural, not "painted" and wanted a weather resistant finish that would last for decades.

Challenges:
Salt spray, prevailing winds, extreme U.V. and sub-tropical climate of Florida all combine to provide a very challenging environment for any exterior paint finish. The very smooth finish of the finely troweled stucco also requires a paint finish that is natural in appearance. The owners did not want a typical painted stucco appearance but desired an old world appearance that would stand up to the demanding climate.

Solutions:
Royalan Extreme Weather Mineral Silicate Finish was chosen because it is specifically engineered for harsh, ocean-front climates. The mineral silicate finish penetrates the smooth stucco and bonds chemically so it will never blister or peel.
