10 Sullivan, New York, NY
Developed by Madison Equities and Property Markets Group, 10 Sullivan is a contemporary addendum to SoHo's rich architectural legacy.

Raw concrete surfaces were aesthetically unacceptable due to form marks, holes, pits and voids. After remedial action was taken to minimize poor appearance, the concrete was still unacceptable. The architect decided a concrete filler and subsequent finish was required to deliver an acceptable final concrete appearance.

After all form marks were abraded, KEIM Concrete Cleaner and KEIM Concretal Fine Filler was used to fill-in blow holes, pits and voids to deliver a smoother concrete surface. Then two coats of Concretal W Protective Mineral Silicate Finish for Concrete was applied to smooth out and deliver a concrete finish that was aesthetically acceptable.

Ali'iolani Hale Hawaii State Supreme Court
Ali'iolani Hale, means "House of Heavenly Kings", was begun in 1872 and dedicated as a government building instead of a palace in 1874. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is now the seat of the State Supreme Court.

Previous paint coatings had aged, cracked and peeled, especially where water intrusion was prevalent and the surface was generally streaked with mold stains and pollution.

The old coating was cleaned and loose paint was removed to bare masonry. Soldalit Grob Texture Base Coat and Soldalit All Surface Sol-Silicate Finish were used to restore the exterior to it's original design intent with a mineral matte finish and to deliver a much longer life expectancy than latex or acrylic paints, which will reduce maintenance costs dramatically over the next several decades.
