CEMA Chapter Meetings June 20-23
In light of the governor’s plans for a second phase of his Comprehensive Energy Plan, we are holding our regional member chapter meetings later this month rather than in October and November. At these informative meetings, we’ll recap the legislative session that ended last month, discuss the new directions for the energy plan, and go over some ideas of how we can influence the process in the months to come. These chapter meetings are as follows. You can register for them online below as well. There is a uniform price of $55 per person for each dinner meeting.
Monday, June 20, Foxwoods. We've previously held our eastern regional meeting at Mohegan Sun, which isn't available this year due to their hosting a car show. But Foxwoods is available and if you attended the Eastern Energy Expo there two weeks ago, you'll know it's a top-rated venue with great food. Choice of entrees: short ribs in red wine sauce, or free-range chicken in sherry reduction. Register online here.
Tuesday, June 21, Mattatuck Museum, Waterbury. We had great success at our holiday party last December at the New Britain Museum. This chapter meeting will be held at the Mattatuck Museum conveniently located in downtown Waterbury (parking in the rear). Dinner will be an upscale BBQ buffet from the same highly-acclaimed caterer we used in New Britain. $55. Register online here.
Wednesday, June 22, Hawthorne Inn, Berlin, CT. For four decades, from the 60s to the 90s, ICPA has been holding meetings at the Hawthorne Inn in Berlin. Now under new management by the Casa Mia group, we return to the Hawthorne for a family style all-you-can-eat dinner, with entrees to include veal marsala and seafood scampi. $55. Register online here.
Thursday, June 23, Trumbull Marriott Hotel, Trumbull, CT. Easily accessible from both lower and upper Fairfield County, we've had a strong turnout at the Trumbull Marriott in recent years. Buffet dinner. $55. Register online here.
