CEMA Annual Meeting in just 11 days

CEMA's 66th Annual Meeting and the Southern New England Energy Conference will be Sept. 12-13 at the Hyatt Regency in Newport, Rhode Island. The election of a board of directors will be held during the Awards Luncheon on Sept. 12. Members should have received a list of nominees, and if they would like to see the list, please email Chris Herb at chris@ctema.com.

The keynote during that luncheon will be Nicole Enteado, a remarkable young lady who suffered a stroke, at just the age of 26 Her inspirational story will have you thinking about work, life and recovery from adversity in new ways, and just might save a life!

Our full slate of programs has been published on the conference website. These include previously announced motor fuel sessions that include a presentation by PEI on diesel corrosion in USTs at gas stations; a presentation from NACS on how customers buy gasoline and how to incentivize them beyond price; going green at your gas station, presented by Mike Devine of Amerigreen and much more.

While our room block sold out last Friday, CEMA retained a limited number of extra rooms which you can purchase from CEMA on a first-come, first-served basis at the conference rate of $199 (plus tax and fees) for the night of Sept. 12. These can be obtained directly from CEMA, not from the hotel. If interested, please contact David Chu at chu@ctema.com.
