CEMA Golf Outing — June 7
As previously announced, we're pleased to hold our 2016 Golf Outing at the Wallingford Country Club, one of the oldest, most venerable clubs in the state. Founded in 1898, the initial course was ready to play by 1900. Known for its lush fairways and excellent greens, the best way to describe the picturesque layout of the Wallingford Country Club is as a tale of two nines. Both are as equally challenging in their own unique way. The outward (front) nine is a traditional challenging layout with an excellent arrangement of short and long par 4's along with one of the most difficult par 3's in the state of Connecticut. The inward (back) nine is more creative in its personality where you can use your imagination and hit an array of golf shots. While a number of CEMA members are members of the club, we thank John Daniels of Daniels Energy for sponsoring our group at his club. Thanks also to committee members Kate Childs, Tuxis Ohrs, co-chair; Frank Troiano, Troiano Oil, co-chair; Pete Caruso; Jeff Jennings, Jennings Oil; and Jack Welch, Burnham Hydronics.
