CBC News

Ellins says she was made to wait while the doctor and his staff took a lunch break, but says the final straw was being asked to pay $25 for a cortisone injection that had previously been offered for free.

Dr. Pam Mansfield says that's the only word to describe what's happening at her hospital and others, especially given developments this past winter and spring. "I don't want to use the word crisis loosely," she said.
