Playcore acquires Knorr Systems and Porter Corporation
Founded in 1977, Knorr Systems Incorporated has brought chemical automation to the commercial pool market, and expanded their distribution capabilities to offer a wide range of aquatic equipment, service and expertise.
Since 1964, Porter has been innovating architectural structures. Their innovative structural insulated panels (SIPS) helped revolutionize high performance building systems by combining structure and insulation into one panel. Their well-known Poligon line of shelter structures leads the industry in the design, engineering and manufacturing of shade coverings for applications in steel, fabric and wood.
Through these two acquisitions, PlayCore has expanded its product offerings.
