The Regional Examiner — a key role in the APR program
CPRS
The APR (Accredited in Public Relations) program depends on the dedicated CPRS volunteers who give their time as Regional Examiners and are responsible for the evaluation process in five regions across Canada under the guidance of Chief Examiner Kathy Malley APR, FCPRS. One of those volunteers, Philip Mulder APR, FEC (Hon.), FGC (Hon.), shares his Regional Examiner experience with CPRS, "I greatly enjoy chairing the grader consensus meetings because it's rare to be able to spend an hour as part of a group of passionate and knowledgeable people discussing what constitutes good PR practice."

Profil de bénévole : L'examinateur régional — un rôle clé au sein du programme d'agrément ARP
SCRP
Le programme ARP (agréé en relations publiques) dépend du dévouement des bénévoles de la SCRP qui font don de leur temps à titre d'examinateurs régionaux et sont responsables du processus d'évaluation dans les cinq régions du Canada, sous la gouverne de l'examinatrice en chef (Kathy Malley ARP, FSCRP. Un de ces bénévoles, Philip Mulder ARP, FEC (Hon.), FGC (Hon.), partage son expérience d'examinateur régional avec la SCRP : « J'adore présider aux réunions de consensus des examinateurs car il est rare qu'on puisse passer une heure avec un groupe d'individus passionnés et informés qui discutent de ce qui constitue la bonne pratique des relations publiques. »

College of Fellows Application— One Month Away
CPRS
Members of CPRS must submit their College of Fellows application to the CPRS National Office on or before Monday, Sept. 15, 2014. To be considered for entry into the College, individuals must be members of CPRS for at least 10 years, accredited in public relations (APR) and have demonstrated leadership within the Society as well as the profession. Learn more about the College of Fellows application process on the CPRS website.
