8 qualities of leaders who deliver value every day
Entrepreneur.com
Leadership is a means to create value for others through self-expression. How a leader shows up is everything as it sets the tone for others to either emulate or evade. Making the jump from manager to director to leader is never a clear-cut process. The position itself changes but the “how to lead” skills are never made clear, so what happens is newly-appointed leaders apply yesterday’s management tactics to today’s leadership demands, and the two don’t play nicely.

Business 2 Community
The biggest shopping season of the year is in full swing. Although brands and consumers are used to the traditional direct mailers and TV spots, holiday shopping – and shopping in general – has gained a significant presence on YouTube. Whether it’s a Beauty Guru doing a haul video about the amazing makeup deals she found, or a consumer-electronics influencer unboxing the latest must-have tech, YouTube is changing the way consumers understand and evaluate the year’s biggest day for holiday sales.

Mobile will revive and redefine content marketing
Adweek
Some think that the brand-as-publisher trend has reached its peak, when in reality it's just getting started. A mere five years ago, Red Bull was an energy drink, not a global media company. Chipotle was hard at work wrapping burritos, not shooting award-winning video shorts. Social media was in its infancy, and branded content consisted of things like trade brochures gathering dust on a shelf.

Facebook launches new content targeting tool and it's FREE
Marketing Pilgrim
As we all know, just because you post something on Facebook doesn’t mean it’s being seen by your followers. That would be silly, right? To actually, automatically serve up your content to everyone who explicitly asked for it? Since it is so hard to get your message past enemy lines, it’s important to make the most of each message you put out there. Facebook is ready to help with that.

Are your internal communications boring?
Business 2 Community
A critical component to business success is an actively engaged workforce. And one way of almost guaranteeing you don’t have one is by producing dull internal communications (IC).
