- Have you developed a new forensic nursing project?
- Do you have research in progress?
- Do you want to share your ideas with colleagues?
Poster sessions allow presenters to network with peers one-on-one, exchanging ideas and learning from one another outside the traditional conference sessions.
We especially encourage students at all levels (BSN/MSN/DNP/PhD) to submit poster presentations. This is a great way to share your ideas, present early stage doctoral work, and get feedback from scholars and clinicians.
Posters will be judged, prize(s) awarded, and be available for viewing throughout the conference. Authors will be asked to present their data before an audience at a dedicated session scheduled during the conference.
We have a variety of conference tracks. Please click here to ensure your poster fits one of the tracks. Submit a Poster Abstract — Due May 7, 2018.

IAFN is once again collaborating with the American Nurses Foundation (ANF) to offer a $10,000 research grant to a forensic nurse researcher.
Preference will be given to applicants who are members of the International Association of Forensic Nurses. If there are no member applications, or no high-quality proposals from association members, non-member applicants will be considered, with the selected grantee required to become a member of IAFN in order to receive funding. The focus of this grant is restricted to research focused on forensic nursing science.
This award is part of the 2018 Nursing Research Grants which offers nursing research awards to beginner and experienced nurse researchers. Information about all of the awards is available here.
The online application is available now. All applications must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on May 1.

Although the advertisement provided little information about the role and nature of the work, the NSO was looking for women who had the tenacity and empathy to interview women and girls about different forms of violence they may have experienced throughout their lives.
