The “Showhouse in a Showroom” concept, introduced at the fall 2018 High Point Market, has reinvigorated the way furniture is displayed and viewed at market.

This extensive bedroom renovation involved transforming an unused storage attic into a master suite of the homeowners’ dreams. While the room literally started out as a blank slate, it required much thought and consideration to achieve the clients’ long wish list, while designing a functional layout that worked with the existing roof lines, stairwell access, and new adjoining ensuite bathroom.

This room was over-filled with a grand piano, large scale furniture, 1980s vinyl windows and French doors opened to yet another unused outdoor patio space and the beautiful view beyond was obstructed. The designer added a gorgeous paneled ceiling, raised the floor and carried through exquisite French limestone. All of the windows and doors were replaced and reconfigured.

These homeowners wanted their master bathroom redesigned to include up-scaled finishes, functionality, and to be uniquely beautiful. The room's focal point was the custom stained glass window made of clear textured and opaque glass that allowed privacy while still allowing natural light to flood the room.
