Also featured, are homes of 22 leading designers, including Christopher Radko (of vintage ornament fame) and Joe Ruggiero (host of HGTV’s Homes Across America). Almost 400 color images treat readers to dazzling holiday visions usually seen only by family and friends. “I am honored to be included among so many talented designer across our nation”, Copas said. “I am looking forward to the launch party which will take place at the Governor’s Mansion on November 1, 2016 at 6 pm. Architectural Digest
It’s no secret that at Architectural Digest, they are fans of wallpaper of all types. Whether a graphic stripe or a rich floral, pattern on the wall serves as both art and decor, adding texture and character to your space, making a ceiling look higher, and serving as an interesting backdrop to wall hangings. When you’re living in a rental, though, bringing out the paste is often a strict no-no. Luckily, we’ve got a solution. Over the past few years, companies like Chasing Paper, Brewster, and Tempaper have turned removable paper from a low-end accent for a child’s room to a high-style solution for the non-homeowner. Whether you choose to swathe an accent wall in bold pattern or cover an entire room, these 12 papers add instant impact.

There’s nothing wrong with bringing home a brand-new sofa or chair from your favorite design store, but you do run the risk of your neighbor having the very same piece. Vintage furniture, on the other hand, is much more difficult to replicate — and it doesn’t hurt that it also adds instant history and character to a space. With their unique shapes and thoughtful details, antique furnishings are naturally the focal point of the room, whether the piece is upholstered in an eye-catching pattern, like the curvy floral sofa in interior designer Muriel Brandolini’s New York residence, or a neutral fabric, such as the sleek sectional in a Malibu, California, beach house.
