The St. Louis Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors – ASHI ® Spring Seminar is on March 8, 2019.
The NADRA Course Includes …The Existing Structure. The features on the exterior of a house, such as windows, overhead cables, and dryer vents require certain considerations when in proximity to a deck or other walking surface. Numerous building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fuel-gas systems must be considered when judging how effectively a deck works with a home. Nearly three-quarters of homeowners plan to make home improvement projects in 2019, a 26 percent increase from 2018, the LightStream Home Improvement Survey finds. The survey, conducted by The Harris Poll, also finds that homeowners plan to spend $9,000 on average for a renovation project, a 32 percent increase from 2018. Additionally, 11 percent of homeowners plan to spend more than $25,000 on their homes in 2019, a 83 percent year-over-year increase.
