Calling all NADRA Members!
The NJ Deck for a Soldier® build is starting this week with the project tear-down. A substantial amount of materials are still needed in order to make this happen for our Soldier. To see a list of materials and labor pledges, please click HERE. Even if your product isn't being used, please consider a monetary pledge to help support our members efforts in NJ. These guys are all donating their time, materials and many of them paying their crews to be on the jobsite to help with the build. If there is anything you can do, we greatly appreciate it.
If you would like to make a monetary pledge, you can do so HERE. The local crew can then use this money to purchase the items below as a final effort to fulfill material needs for the soldiers new deck.
The materials needed are as follows:
2 – 14” or 16” x 4’ concrete form tubes
3 – 2” x 10” – 16’ treated ledger boards
3 – 2” x 12” – 12’ treated stair stringers
3 – 2” x 4” – 12’ treated ramp
14 – 2” x 4” – 16’ treated lattice framing
7 – 4” x 4” – 8’ treated roof posts

With your product set for spring, don’t forget to make sure your staff and your customers are up to speed with your offerings for this year’s deck season.

In fact, the last two years can be described as tumultuous, at the least. The year 2016 saw the end of the Softwood Lumber Agreement. With pricing uncertainty on the horizon and a strong U.S. economy and lumber prices, shipments to the U.S. soared.
