We would like to inform everyone that the Northeast region of NADRA has approved a new Deck for a Soldier® project! The National D4S committee is also reviewing an application in the Minnesota area. The Southeast region of NADRA is actively looking for a candidate. If anyone knows of a deserving recipient please have them fill out an application found here. More details on each build are forthcoming. Be on the lookout next week for a call for pledges. This is a program close to our hearts & we appreciate all of your involvement and support! NADRA
Join us for an informational meeting before the NADRA Golf Tournament 10/25/17 at 10am as we discuss how NADRA-CPAC will foster competitive advantages for decking material manufacturers, as well as promote social and corporate responsibility for all deck material manufacturers and distributors. The NADRA-CPAC committee chair, Andrew Clements, will be in attendance with representatives from NADRA, and NTA for Q&A.
*NTA is an international, code report service and building products certifier, actively working with NADRA in developing a brand/consumer awareness campaign for the decking industry-at-large.

 In the last two months, we've witnessed historic Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria severely damage Texas, Louisiana, Florida and Puerto Rico. Tens of thousands of homes were flooded, while other homes were permanently damaged beyond repair. We already know that recovery efforts are underway, but rebuilding after the hurricanes remains a challenge due to a shortage of skilled labor in the home construction industry.

Trex Co. Inc. has completed its acquisition of Stadium Consolidation LLC, a decorative rail maker based in Brooklyn Park, Minn., for $71.5 million.
Trex said it plans to use the deal to expand the reach of its composite decking products into SC’s commercial markets.
