The 2015 Cub Cadet Challenger CX500 and Challenger CX700 four-wheel drive off-road utility vehicles have been recalled by the manufacturer because the parking break cable can fail, posing a crash hazard.
The manufacturer has received 22 reports of the brake cable failing, but no reports of injuries or property damage, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall number 16-739. About 1,300 units sold between April 2015 through October 2015 are affected by the recall.
