The Administration for Community Living (ACL) issued a notice proposing to eliminate data collection on sexual orientation and gender identity within the 2017 National Survey of Older Americans Act Participants. Read NASW's comments opposing the proposal.
Use the newly released FrameWorks toolkit, Talking Elder Abuse, to shape your messaging for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) on June 15. The toolkit was developed in cooperation with the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA), with NASW input, and is the subject of a plenary session at the 2017 NASW Virtual Conference, Aging Through the Social Work Lens, June 14-15, 2017.
