June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD). People of all ages deserve to live free from abuse. Strong social structures help to prevent elder abuse. The greatest risk factor for experiencing elder abuse is social isolation. By sustaining, enhancing, and creating policies and programs that strengthen social supports in our communities, we can prevent elder abuse – and we can address elder abuse more quickly and effectively when it does occur. Let's work together to build a just society for all.

Abstract
This paper examines the contemporary ethical issues surrounding voting rights of three disenfranchised groups in the U.S.: convicted felons, the homeless, and immigrants. Even in modern countries like the U.S., voting and other forms of political participation are skewed toward the elite, those with higher incomes, those who are employed, and those with more education. Low voter turnout presents serious challenges to democratic responsiveness, or the ability of leaders to respond to the needs and demands of citizens. Hence, voting should be encouraged in accord with the common interest. An important conclusion is that allowing all citizens – irrespective of their status – to vote would give them a voice in the context of governance. This notion is also associated with distributive justice, a philosophical concept that concentrates on just outcomes and consequences.

Social workers' therapeutic relationships with clients eventually come to an end. The way they end and how the social worker handles terminations can have ethical and legal implications. Prepare for termination from the beginning and talk about it early on so both parties can have several sessions to discuss ending therapy. This article addresses common issues that may arise during termination and ways to enhance client care while avoiding allegations of abandonment.

The study found that people who took multiple drugs associated with a possible increased risk of depression were also more likely to be depressed, but researchers couldn't distinguish whether the medications were the cause.
