Although the NASW (2015) Code of Ethics does not expressly address HIV/AIDS, a new Ethics 8 Series tip sheet provides guidance and resources to help social workers promote ethical practice when working with affected people and communities.
The Administration for Community Living’s (ACL’s) Principles for a Person-Centered Approach to Serious or Advanced Illness guides and enhances programs and services for people with disabilities and older adults. Read NASW’s comments on these draft principles.
