We 'Have a Way to Go' to Achieve Racial Equity in Social Work
Just as the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought for racial equity in society, so the social work profession must look inward to fight institutionalized systemic racism at the heart of its constructs, say NASW, the Association of Social Work Boards, and the Council on Social Work Education. This includes recognizing that people of color – including Ida B. Wells and George Edmund Haynes – played a key role in creating the profession in the same way as Jane Addams.

Health Care, Reproductive Rights, and Rights of LGBT People at Risk, Warns NASW
NASW urges the U.S. Senate to honor the wishes of the majority of Americans and conduct the Supreme Court nomination process after the upcoming elections and the presidential inauguration. .SOCIAL WORK ISSUES IN THE NEWS
What Voter Suppression Looks Like Online
Vox
According to a report by CNN, the federal government has warned that Russia “might seek to covertly discourage or suppress US voters from participating” in the upcoming election.
If so, it would be a repeat of their tactics four years ago, when Russian operatives posing as Americans on social media discouraged Black Americans from voting or encouraged them to vote for the third-party candidate, Jill Stein.
