This February, more than 300 of the nation's best college football players will be invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. One step in this four-day camp is the CYBEX Knee Evaluation. CSMi is looking for volunteers to help perform these evaluations. Applicants must be certified athletic trainers, experienced in operating CYBEX, Kin-Com or Biodex Extremity Systems and available at least one day Feb. 23-26. More

A Swedish researcher advises treating tennis elbow with training and ergonomic advice rather than anti-inflammatory drugs and cortisone shots. Pia Nilsson of the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, in Sweden, sent questionnaires to health care professionals — including doctors, surgeons and physiotherapists — about treatments used when they suffered tennis elbow. "It became clear that treatment with medication has side effects in many cases," Nilsson said. More
