ACA Offers An Overview of SCAQMD Rule 1113 for AIM Coatings in a New VLC
Rule 1113 is applicable to any person who supplies, sells, markets, offers for sale, or manufactures any architectural coating in California's South Coast Air Quality Management District that is intended to be field-applied to stationary structures or their appurtenances, and to fields and lawns; as well as any person who applies, stores at a worksite, or solicits the application of any architectural coatings within the district. Bay Area AQMD Releases Compliance Advisory on Formaldehyde Emissions Reporting for Wood Coatings Products
California's Bay Area Air Quality Management District has released a compliance advisory to help makers of wood coatings products estimate their formaldehyde emissions that are generated by drying or curing of their wood coatings. These formaldehyde emission estimates must be submitted to the district by July 1. More

'Shut Down the Corporations' Activity Planned for Feb. 29 across the Country to Disrupt Businesses
ACA has been made aware that one of the latest Occupy movement activities, "Shut Down the Corporations," is scheduled nationwide for Feb. 29. The movement calls for non-violent, direct action against members and past members of the American Legislative Exchange Council, with particular focus on board member companies. More
