The House Ways and Means Committee on April 20 passed by voice vote bipartisan legislation that would create a Miscellaneous Tariff Bill (MTB) process to eliminate tariffs on inputs and other products that are not produced or available in the United States. H.R. 4923, the American Manufacturing Competitiveness Act of 2016, was unanimously approved by the committee.
