ACA Publishes New Transport Training Guidance for Members, will Host Webinar Dec. 5
ACA recently published its revised Guide to Training Hazmat Transport Employees. The detailed guide addresses U.S. DOT’s requirement that training of hazmat employees involved in transport must include general awareness/familiarization training, function-specific training, safety training, security awareness training, and if applicable, driver training and in- depth security training. On Dec. 5, ACA will host a member webinar to review its guide, which covers all of these requirements in detail, offering practical tips, examples, and key takeaways in a pictorially illustrated training modules.

EPA Proposes Additional Substantiation Questions for TSCA Inventory CBI Claims
EPA is proposing two additional questions addressing reverse engineering that companies would be required to answer to substantiate Confidential Business Information claims for specific chemical identities. The agency is also proposing procedures for companies to use in amending certain previously-submitted substantiations to include responses to the additional questions.
