SIM names Steve Hufford new chief executive

The Society for Information Management Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Steve Hufford has been selected as the new chief executive officer to lead the organization. "Steve's background, as well as his volunteer experience within SIM, made him the clear choice to serve as our new chief executive," said Jim Knight, SIM board chair. "The personnel committee was impressed with the ideas and plans Steve has to help us move SIM forward. His work as chapter relations representative on the Management Council has given him a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges SIM is facing on a grassroots, as well as a national level."
