Cyber Talent Institute
Join forces with your technology peers and cybersecurity leaders as they rise to the National Cyber Scholarship Foundation’s 25x25 Challenge to discover and train a diverse new generation of 25,000 "cyber stars" by the year 2025.
As one of the world’s fastest growing industries, cybersecurity is already a $167 billion global market, thanks to relentless waves of increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity attacks against U.S. business and government organizations. With CIOs, CTOs and CSOs constantly competing in this zero sum game to hire the cybersecurity talent their companies need, we are overdue for some fresh approaches and novel ideas. You’ll find those taking center stage at the Cyber Talent CIO Forum on July 21.
Tune into this free virtual event to hear from a stellar lineup of speakers, including CEO Tarika Barrett of Girls Who Code; FedEx CIO Rob Carter, CIO Kristie Grinnell of General Dynamics IT, CDO Vince Campisi of Raytheon and more. Moderated by Maryfran Johnson, host of IDG’s CIO Leadership Live, the Forum is sponsored by the Cyber Talent Institute, a new, independent research and action organization dedicated to eliminating America’s critical shortage of cybersecurity talent. Come and hear directly from the creator of a revolutionary online cybersecurity game that’s already drawn more than 200,000 UK students into considering tech and cyber careers — and 30,000 U.S. students in its pilot phase during 2020-21.
