According to the data from the 2020 SIM IT Trends Study, there were some interesting shifts in the rankings for IT areas that should receive more investment. While investments in Cloud Computing, Analytics and Business Intelligence, and Security continued to occupy the top three positions, Collaboration Tools jumped from 16th in 2019 to 8th in 2020.
