VoIP contract goes to Ontario firm

Winnipeg city council has finalized the award of a contract worth about $6 million to an Ontario firm, despite protests from losing bidder MTS. The city's new telephone contracts are expected to save $1.5 million over five years overall, by transferring about 4,000 landlines to VOIP service, if approved by city council.

Study: Canadians using social media to find jobs

NASA hopes to enhance asteroid detection through crowdsourcing partnership
