Yes, even renters can implement energy-efficient practices when renovating their rental and no effort is too small.
Campaign to Zero aims to unite all parties of the housing industry and empower them with easy access to mindful, consumer-conscious information to make the right choice in decreasing energy needs. With growing concerns over climate change, this coordinated effort will provide meaningful ways to embrace zero carbon lifestyles as well as creating radical change to our energy needs, which our planet desperately requires.

The Facts Are In: Green Buildings Sell At Higher Values, While the Rest Decline

Buildings with strong green certification command higher rents and sales values, while other buildings are falling in value, according to growing evidence that cutting building carbon emissions makes financial sense.
While investors initially doubted the value of certifications like LEED and BREEAM, green certifications result in a rent premium of 6% and a sales premium of 8%, JLL says in a new report on sustainability and the growing value of green.
