U.S. Senators Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and Patrick Leahy’s (D-Vt.) Protecting Lawful Streaming Act of 2020 became law in December 2020 as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021.

John Wiley & Sons, Inc. announced a new open access agreement with the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities and the Spanish National Research Council to drive an increase in open access publishing among 59 Spanish universities and CSIC, the largest research institution in Spain. Together, Crue-CSIC represent nearly 200,000 researchers across Spain.
