AI tool offers cure for scattered medical data
Venture Beat
A patient in the ER, ICU, and other care environments is often connected to monitoring equipment such as cardiac monitors or ventilators, which capture a range of medical data points: heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation levels, body temperature, and more. Studying these numbers over time can yield vital information about the body's physiological patterns indicating imminent deterioration such as cardiac arrests, respiratory depression, and stroke.

Why the healthcare industry should experiment with VR in the COVID era
MedCity News
VR adoption is being stifled by the medical field's scientific mindset, where a raft of clinical trials are first expected before adoption is even considered. This is of course an extremely valid consideration in the operating and treating stages, but can be limiting when over-broadly applied to the entire life cycle of the patient experience.

When doctors become too reliant on AI
The Wall Street Journal
Using electronic medical records and artificial intelligence to create algorithms for healthcare applications would be great if our electronic records were correct. Sadly, when carefully reviewed by patients, many records are discovered to be full of erroneous information and incorrect diagnoses.
