The ARTISAN Space Maintenance System is indicated for use as a temporary implants to stabilize and support autograft, autograft extenders, allograft, bone void fillers, and/or fractured bone segments with or without bone plates or titanium mesh I bony defects of Oral maxillofacial anatomy. Neurological deficits (transient or permanent) are possible. Preoperative planning should always be performed prior to surgery so that proximity to sensitive anatomy is known.
