The National Transportation Safety Board said the absence of such a system contributed to train crashes in Philadelphia and Hoboken.

The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development announced a $1 million Notice of Grant Opportunity to provide greater employment opportunities for females entering the construction trades.
